“Our family went to St John’s Island 20 years ago for 2 summers, and loved it. So, we did not expect to be blown away by Anguilla. Just gorgeous. However, the biggest surprise was how much we enjoyed the company of and delicious meals created and cooked by Chef Lee. We are all foodies and excellent cooks, but each course was “to die for”. I am not a big soup person but his seafood chowder and lobster bisque turned me into one! And the conch fritters were leaps above the ones we had at a beach shack. The coconut crusted mahi in a broth with bok choy was delectable and unique. The rack of lamb with a guava glaze- ‘mouth watering’. And desserts? OMG best key lime pie I have ever had- and I have had many in my lifetime! And the bananas Forster was another stand out. The presentations were what you would expect in a high end restaurant. What we didn’t expect was to also enjoy Chef Lee’s company and enthusiasm for food and friendship. We have never had a private caterer before, so we’re a little nervous. Best decision we ever made. It was two nights we will always remember!!”
“Chef Lee was truly spectacular, and I don't use that word lightly. He was a private chef for my family last spring break, and his food might have been the highlight of our entire trip! From the ridiculously fresh ceviche to a special lobster dinner, we couldn't have imagined a better private chef experience. My family is currently vacationing on a different island with a different private chef, and no disrespect to our current chef, but we have not stopped raving and reminiscing about Chef Lee's cooking. If you haven't eaten Chef Lee's food, you truly haven't experienced the best of Anguilla.”
“Chef Lee prepared dinner for us a number of nights at our rental. Simple--he is an excellent chef, and a really nice person. Our meals ranged from traditional local cuisine to other entrees and sides.....all fantastic. We basically decided not to go out to "top" restaurants as we figured Chef Lee is as good or better than the best restaurants on the island. He was also able to accommodate some specific requests. In addition, the desserts were off the charts good. We joked about freeze drying some of the desserts and shipping them home with us.”
“Delicious, personalized dinner! Chef Le is amazing and willing to serve you any type of dinner. We also had a birthday and he baked a perfect birthday cake. He served us lobsters, steak, veggies, salad, and potatoes family style. Wandaila was an attentive and perfect server, you don’t have to lift a finger, and the table was beautifully set. Perfect in villa dining experience. Best meal we have had on the island. He can tackle any cuisine and so fun to talk to!”
