“My wife and I stayed in Villa 5 (1 BR) at Solaire for 7 days in May. I would absolutely choose it again. The staff are very available and friendly. We got on an earlier ferry than anticipated and so got there a couple hours before check-in but within 10 minutes someone was there and our villa was available early. We also had one night we returned from dinner to find we had no running water. I texted the manager Joan at about 8 pm and she had someone out there and the issue fixed within half an hour. The view of St Martin/Maarten is great. I will say Solaire is really more of a 'home base' to explore the island from as opposed to somewhere where there is a lot very close by, though I personally appreciated being in a more secluded area. I would strongly recommend renting a car. So long as you understand that going in I think anyone would be very pleased.”

We spent every day on the pool deck by our personal villa pool, and loved having the kitchen to make meals when needed. The service was truly top notch. Everything was perfect.
