In their own words

After a wonderful stay at Bella Blu in December, we decided to book with Turtle's Nest due to availability for our May vacation. I had read previous reviews that mentioned overbooking and was nervous about it potentially happening to us. Sadly, our unit at Bella Blu wasn't available this time around, and I took a chance that perhaps the reviews for Turtle's Nest were one offs rather than a consistent issue for the hotel. Unfortunately, we ran into this very problem during our stay. Without going into too much detail, we had to spend a night at Frangipani, which actually ended up being our favorite part of our trip (excellent service and beautiful rooms). I'm writing this so that others are made aware that overbooking IS a problem at Turtle's Nest, and don't be surprised if it happens to you. ||Separating the disaster of our forced move from the location itself, here was our experience: the location is stunning and it's a good value for the price. The units could benefit from updating and things like the washer/dryer combo are definitely dated. Also be forewarned that the beach can get crowded if there are large groups staying at the hotel. Unfortunately, there was a large, loud group of families with lots of children, and they started their drinking early in the day. We had to make sure that we put our towels out by 7 a.m. each morning, due to the sheer amount of crowding at the resort. Without large groups like that, the beach is wide open and feels isolated. Not the case for our trip this time, sadly. If you are booking, make sure to ask about any large groups or weddings that might be happening during your stay. It could mean the difference between feeling like you're on your own private beach vs. basically being in Cancun, just with less seaweed.||Overall, I think Turtle's Nest is a great value for what you pay for, but just remember that you do, always, get what you pay for.

Excellent place to stay! Lucky if you can nab an accomodation here. Lovely spot, at great locale smack in the middle of Meads Bay and awesome, hardworking staff. We stayed in a studio on the 6th floor (no elevator) but worth it if you don't mind walking up. Best million dollar view of descending sun for "budget" price. We enjoyed it thoroughly as there was plenty of room on this fantastic expanse of sand & sea and great eats close by! Kitchen well equipped and Best Buy market a stone throw away as well as local, roadside bbq & hot Johnny cakes at B&D's just a short drive down the road and round the corner. Rooftop is a hidden gem! 🤫 Would get a condo unit here if I could !🌴 Pool was clean and inviting, some kayaks and paddleboards on the premises you can use (I believe)..Was welcomed with a snack basket and bottle of wine..What an A+ Anguilla accommodation!

We eloped in Anguilla and spent eleven wonderful nights at this great resort! ||The grounds and the rooms are very clean and housekeeping visits your room each day.||The resort is located on stunning Meads Bay with plenty of loungers and towels and it also has a great pool on site. ||The hotel staff are there to answer any questions you have regarding car rental, excursions, restaurants, etc. ||We especially appreciated the friendliness and support we received from Jackie, in the office. She really made us feel welcome and comfortable!||We also would like to thank Scooby for sharing his singing each day, while he worked around the resort. His kindness and smile were contagious! ||We loved our experience so much, we already booked our room for next year!

It was our first time in Anguilla. We had a very pleasant stay at Turtle’s Nest Resort. The property was very clean, fully equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. We loved the easy access to the pool and beautiful Meads Bay Beach. The beach towels and chairs provided were a great added touch.||||The bed was extra big - it felt bigger than a king. We had hot water in the shower but the shower pressure could have been better.||||The location was also very convenient, with local restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and highly recommend Turtle’s Nest Resort for its excellent value for the price.
