“We stopped at Sunshine Shack and it is exactly the kind of place you hope to find in the Caribbean. Bright, colorful, and full of energy, this spot feels like the personality of Anguilla brought to life. Sitting right on Rendezvous Bay, you get soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and views stretching out toward St. Martin. It is the kind of place where you sit down and immediately lose track of time. What really sets this place apart is how interactive and personal it feels. Just about everywhere you look, there are license plates from all over the world hanging up, adding to the character and global feel of the place. And then there is the fun part, you are encouraged to leave your mark. You can write your name, draw, or add a message on the tables, walls, and just about any open space. It gives the entire shack a lived-in, ever-evolving vibe that makes you feel like part of it. The atmosphere is lively in the best way. Music playing, people laughing, drinks flowing, it all just works. It never feels forced, just a natural, fun beach energy. Food and drinks hit the mark too. Fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you want in a setting like this, served with that easygoing island hospitality. A table near us ordered the grilled lobster, it looked amazing. Parking is simple with space nearby, and you are just steps from the sand and even on the sand if you enjoy once of their beach chairs. This is more than a beach bar, it is an experience.
